Hurricane by Bob Dylan

I love ballads. No, not sappy love songs kids dance to in high school proms. What I love is songs that tell stories (literary ballads), like Bob D’s “Hurricane.” It’s one of the best ones out there. AND this song is in Dazed and Confused (the famous scene where Wooderson and friends enter the Emporium, real bad-ass), which is the best Richard Linklater movie ever.

Here comes the story of the Hurricane
The man the authorities came to blame
For something that he never done
Put him in a prison cell but one time he could-a been
The champion of the world
